What inspired your handle's name?

I couldn't think of a name when I was signing up for spawn.com, so I just used my intials and my hockey number.

I love good wine, good beer and women. I'm french speaking. And I kind of look like Oliver Platt (Porthos) in Disney 3 musketeers movie.

Dreams I used to have...

When first I entered the Matrix...erm, got online, I was in the midst of a period of turmoil in my own mind, questioning sanity, purpose, existance, etc. and had been having "prophetic" dreams about the end of the world - the Imbalance - so that was and is my first online personal: a herald of doom. [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img] Well, we're all still here, so the dreams were either wrong or 1,000 years early. I left the internet for a time, and when I finally returned to find old friends on Spawn.com, the change to UBB had deleted my old account, so I chose Nostromo as a different kind of omen - the self-destructing spaceship. Being a big Aliens fan sort of persuaded me also, as did research into the origins of the name. Weird, I know. Just for the sake of self-humiliation I still choose to use Imbalance from time to time, and the beuaty of this board is allowing the viewed handle to be changed. Hence you'll see many combinations of the two, although I doubt I'll ever change my avatar here. Further, I've had the same Hotmail account for nearly a decade, and I have no plans to change that any time soon.
